energy and the environment. You can pick one up at our Do
It For Earth Store . **** Right now some of the discount stores (like 99 cents Only Stores) are selling them very cheap. Companies like Southern California Edison are subsidising most of the cost. KUDOS to them ****** |

April 26, 2008 Little Rock, Arkansas |
Clinton Presidential Library In conjunction with the William J. Clinton Foundation, the Arkansas Earth Day Foundation is producing the Arkansas Earth Day Festival and Concert on Saturday, April 26. The Sierra Club’s Arkansas Chapter is a sponsor and will have a booth. The free statewide festival, to be held on the grounds of the Clinton Presidential Center from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., is designed to educate and energize individuals, businesses and government to take responsibility for a clean and healthy environment. With a range of fun and interactive experiences, from healthy food options to eco-friendly shopping opportunities, the festival aims to motivate all Arkansans and their families to take positive action for our environment while celebrating Earth Day. The concert, to be held at the ArtScene in North Little Rock from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m., will host live music, artists at work, and a green fashion show. The 2008 theme is "What Can YOU Do?" We want to give attendees positive and simple ideas for greening their lifestyle. Remember “Hope Grows”! More information here. To volunteer to help the Sierra Club at this event, contact Glen Hooks at (501) 301-8280, glen.hooks@sierraclub.org |
